Newspaper is the best example of using grid structure. This is from Washington Times and it perfectly divided into 6 columns which makes people much easier to read. The picture is in proportion to the column. The important picture is relatively larger than other picture and it really catches readers’ eyes at first time. I think grid structure is extremely important in newspaper because the reading parts should be easily understandable to readers. Additionally their headings of each reading are slightly different which I thought it was creative.
