Fish-Week 11
The New York Times website is a good example of a well designed interface. On the left hand side, there is an easily accessible navigation bar. The font used for this navigation bar is easily readable, but not overbearing. I especially like how the top stories are presented; the headlines are put in a bold, blue typeface, which serves as the pages visual entry point.

The New York Times has definitely kept a nice clean layout, which is essential for their news. Since they're so well-known for their content, it's not necessary for them to be overly decorated or flashy. Their website design mirrors their overall intention, which is to deliver news cleanly and effectively.
