Week Ten, Stefaniak
In this design, I've found the grid system to be quite useful. Though the grid usually isn't made visible to the viewer and is instead presumed to be there, this grid can be clearly seen. The lines of the grid are white, thin, and numerous, giving clarity to the design. Since every box contains a different pattern that together forms the full picture of a wolf, the grid proves itself to be very useful. If the grid wasn't there, then the entire picture probably would've looked like messy as a mesh of different patterns. Instead, the grid pattern provides visual interest and aids continuity, a Gestalt principle, for the design.

I really like the use of the grid in this picture. The lines create a visual grid but our brain constructs each box into the full picture.
ReplyDeleteI really like how the individual grids take on their own designs. While there are many different squares that do this, they all form together to create one cohesive image. This is a great example of how creative design can come together to form an amazing image.
ReplyDeleteI really like how the small individual pictures combined together and became a one huge picture. It really used a grid structure and each small picture is in proportion. This design is done in very creative way that makes more visualized.
ReplyDeleteI love how the different grids within the picture are different and when you put them together make up the whole picture. I think this a good example of the grid system.
